The rest |
The Gunbound ranking system works with three forms of progression. Each one determines players' levels in different ways.
From the Chick level to Double Golden Axe, levels are defined by a fixed amount of accumulated GP.
In other words: once the GP value from the table is reached, the player levels up, regardless of their position compared to other
players.
Examples:
Starting from 6900 GP, the system switches to relative ranking: levels are assigned based on the player's position within the total group of players who have more than 6900 GP.
Examples of brackets:
How does the percentage calculation work?
Suppose there are 2000 players with more than 6900 GP.
The 71% to 100% bracket represents the lowest 29% of that group:
🧮 29% of 2000 = 580
✅ Result: 580 players would be ranked as Double-Bladed Metal Axe
⚠ These levels are unstable and only appear when there are enough players with more than 6900 GP, since they are defined by
percentage (if there aren't enough players, the brackets donʼt exist).
The number of slots for each level is limited and varies based on the total number of accounts above 6900 GP.
If that number grows, the brackets open more slots. If it shrinks (due to punishments or inactivity), the slots decrease.
Additionally, overtakes, punishments, and reactivations affect your position.
In other words: maintaining your GP does not guarantee maintaining your level — everything depends on your placement within a
constantly changing group.
Dragon levels are unique. They don't depend on fixed GP or percentage.
They are defined solely by a fixed, unchanging number of top-ranking slots.
Because of this, they are present automatically from the start of the game.
Distribution :
⚠ There are always 21 players with these levels.
To reach one, you just need to be within the top 21 positions.
But be aware: if you are overtaken and fall outside the slot range for a Dragon level, your level will drop according to your new
position.
